This Week's Theme: "Poached In Red Wine"

Puree of Potato & Leek Soup Sautéed golden potatoes, leeks, and white onions poached in chicken stock with thyme, bay leaves, salt and crushed black pepper $12 per quart (3 servings) Roasted Veggie Salad Roasted potatoes, leeks, carrots, parsnips, spaghetti squash, golden potatoes with red leaf lettuce in a roasted shallot and red wine vinaigrette $7 per portion Braised Chicken With Red Wine And Veggies A slightly different version of this classic dish (Coq Au Vin). We use half a chicken, bone-in, skin-on, sear it until golden brown, then braise it with red wine, onions, carrots, golden potatoes and zucchini. We don't use flour to thicken the sauce. $14 per portion Tasty Braised Beef With Red Wine This classic dish has seared beef, lots of red wine, crispy onions, earthy mushrooms, soft whole garlic with marjoram and thyme. Please specify if you would like home-made spaetzle or short-grain brown rice to accompany $16 per portion  Bluenose Bass Vino Rojo Seared New Zealand bluenose bass with sautéed golden potatoes, braised shallots and mushrooms with red wine scented tomato sauce $22 per portion  Coconut & Walnut Brownie Sundae A rich and dense brownie with coconut and walnuts baked in topped with homemade coconut ice cream, chocolate sauce and candied walnuts $7 per portion - includes ice cream - of course ;-)
